This incredible experience begins the moment you step off the plane. Our assistant will be waiting for you at the flight reception area of the Cusco Airport with a sign with your name on it. Then, he or she will accompany you to your private transportation and together you will begin your journey to your hotel in Cusco.
Once you arrive at your accommodation, our staff will help you check-in, guide you and recommend a restaurant for a delicious welcome lunch.
Then you will have the afternoon free to enjoy the city on your own, rest, acclimatize, and recharge your batteries for tomorrow’s tour.
This day requires a small sacrifice to admire the rainbow that has become this mountain near the sky.
Today we will get up early. We will pick you up from your hotel between 04:30 am and 5:45 pm. Be sure to pack a light backpack, trekking shoes, comfortable pants, a warm jacket and a windbreaker. The trip takes 3 hours by car. During the trip, we will stop at a local restaurant to have a delicious typical breakfast.
Then, we will board the transport again and arrive at the starting point of the trekking near the village of Panpasiri.
After a brief introduction, you will start the trekking. The hiking lasts approximately 1.5 to 2 hours. Enjoy the Andean landscape and the local fauna while ascending the hills of the 7 Colores Mountain.
If you wish, you can hire a horse (additional charges apply).
After an unforgettable hike, we will arrive at the top of a hill in front of the 7 Colores Mountain. There you will enjoy breathtaking views of the colorful mountain. At this point, at 5,036 meters of altitude, a cold wind blows, so it is recommended to bring a windbreaker.
Take beautiful postcards with Rainbow Mountain in the background and enjoy the unique scenery. Also, be sure to bring water and light food. After a while, we will begin to descend to the beginning of the trail, where our transportation will be waiting for us. The transportation will take you to the same local restaurant of the morning to enjoy a delicious lunch.
After a nice lunch, you will start your return trip to Cusco.
During your 3-hour trip you will be able to relax and enjoy the views of the Andes. Then, we will arrive in the city of Cusco in the afternoon.
In the imperial capital, you can walk a few blocks to your hotel, so you can rest after a day of adventure.
Experience history, travel back in time, and admire the impressive Inca structures that have survived to this day. After a relaxing night, enjoy a hearty breakfast at your hotel and take advantage of your free morning to finish resting, recompose yourself, or enjoy the amenities of your hotel on your own. After lunch (on your own), our guide and transportation will pick you up to begin this adventure.
Initially, explore one of the oldest churches in Peru, which shows its amazing Renaissance architecture and its colonial paintings with religious themes and its own style called “La Escuela Cusqueña”. We are referring to the Cathedral Basilica of Cusco.
Then, we will go to the convent of Santo Domingo, which is a colonial convent built over the ancient Inca temple dedicated to the sun, known as Qoricancha Here you can observe the perfect combination of Spanish and Inca architecture, complemented by impressive works of art of colonial painting.
The archaeological park of Sacsayhuaman will be our last stop This Inca fortress is composed of large lithic blocks that follow a lightning bolt pattern The park also contains the Inca sacrificial and offering center of Qenqo, as well as the Inca ruler’s resting and hunting area called Tambomachay.
Then, your guide and transportation will return you to your hotel after a fascinating exploration of Cusco’s Inca and colonial history. At your accommodation, you will enjoy a delicious dinner (on your own), take a refreshing shower, relax, and recharge your batteries for the next day.
Every step you take towards the lagoon will unveil amazing landscapes, making the excursion to Laguna Humantay an unforgettable experience for those who wish to discover the true essence of the Andes.
Today you will need to make a small sacrifice and get up early again. Our scheduled transportation will pick you up from your hotel between 04:30 am and 05:00 am. The trip to Mollepata, the closest town to Humantay, takes 3 hours. While traveling, you can admire the scenery of the Andes and its majestic mountains, or simply complete your sleeping hours.
Upon arrival in the town of Mollepata, we will stop to attend an exclusive tourist restaurant and enjoy a varied buffet breakfast, prepared with fresh and native ingredients of the area.
After breakfast, we will board again our transportation to the camping area of Soraypampa (only 5 minutes away).
Once we have arrived at Soraypampa, the starting point of our trek, we will take a moment to stretch and prepare ourselves properly to begin our trekking. If you want, you can take advantage of the restrooms available on site.
Afterward, we will start walking towards the Humantay Lagoon. The distance of the hike is approximately 2.5 kilometers and it is estimated that it will take between 1.5 and 2 hours to complete the climb, depending on your pace. Keep in mind that the lagoon is at an altitude of 4,200 meters, so walk at your own pace and rest if you feel the need.
Upon arrival, we will take time to appreciate the breathtaking view of the turquoise lagoon and the surrounding mountains. There, our guide will provide us with a brief explanation about the melting ice, climate change and allow us to capture these beautiful moments, explore the surroundings, reflect and enjoy the environment.
Next, we will start our descent towards Soraypampa. The descend is faster, about 1 to 1.5 hours. Once we arrive to Soraypampa, we will take our transportation to go back to Mollepata. Here, the restaurant where we had breakfast earlier will delight us with an exquisite buffet lunch, offering a wide range of dishes to satisfy all palates.
Finally, we will head back to our transportation to return to Cusco, where we will be arriving around 5:00 pm.

After a refreshing rest, start the day with a delicious and nutritious breakfast at your hotel in Cusco. Then, at the scheduled time, your private guide and transportation will pick you up from your hotel to take you to the Sacred Valley of the Incas. As you head north out of Cusco, you will enjoy the contrast between picturesque Andean hills, rolling ravines and snow-capped mountains. After a 30-minute drive, you will begin the descent into the Sacred Valley, heading to Pisac. During this journey, you will notice a change in the climate from cold and dry to warm.
Pisac will be the first stop at the southeastern end of the Valley. There, in addition to enjoying a more pleasant climate, you will be impressed by the majestic archaeological park of Pisac. This fortress and neighborhood of the Inca elite holds numerous secrets that your guide will reveal to you as you walk through the lower part of the park.
Then, your guide will take you to the Pisac handicraft market, located in the colonial village, where you can appreciate the colorful Baby Alpaca looms, beautiful paintings depicting the Andean landscapes and high quality jewelry with Inca iconography. You will also find stone works (quartz) exhibiting various sculptures, which makes the Pisac market considered the best in Peru.
After this unforgettable experience, your guide and private transportation will take you to Ollantaytambo, at the northwest end of the valley. Along the route from east to west, you will observe picturesque Andean houses, vast agricultural fields and the majestic Vilcanota River that will accompany your journey.
Upon arrival in Ollantaytambo, you will enjoy a delicious lunch in an exclusive restaurant. After a pleasant after-lunch conversation, your guide will immerse you in the charm of the small village, whose houses, buildings and streets maintain the same design of the Inca period, making Ollantaytambo the only living Inca village today. Then, you will explore with your guide the fortress that bears his name, located on the mountain that protects the village. Ollantaytambo was the last Inca stronghold in the Andes, before the locals went into the jungle to escape the Spanish conquistadors.
Finally, your guide together with your transportation will transfer you to your hotel in Ollantaytambo, where you can rest and remember the beautiful experiences of this day.

Enjoy a tourist class train ride through breathtaking Andean valleys and jungle mountains to Aguas Calientes, a charming village at the foot of Machu Picchu. The journey takes approximately 3 hours.
Upon arrival at the Aguas Calientes train station, our staff will be waiting to take you to the bus station, where you will board the CONSETTUR bus to the top of the mountain, where the citadel of Machu Picchu is located. The bus ride takes about 35 minutes.
Upon arrival, in front of the entrance to the archaeological park, you will be met by our guide, ready to begin your tour of the wonders of Machu Picchu. You will learn about the fascinating Inca history and culture while enjoying unparalleled views. The entire tour lasts approximately 2 hours and 30 minutes, ideal for capturing memorable photos of this majestic place and learning about its fascinating history with your guide.
Afterward, your guide will take you on the CONSETTUR bus back to Aguas Calientes to enjoy a delicious lunch at a local restaurant.
Finally, you will head to the train station to take your train back to Cusco, where our staff will meet you and transfer you to your hotel.
